Internet Agency Ranking 2023: Unic Improves Position and Revenue Through Sustainable Growth

Unic Deutschland was founded in 2011 as a German subsidiary of the Unic Group and was first listed in the BVDW ranking in 2014. Since then, the agency has continued to climb the ranks from 105th place and has made it to 53. Over the past five years, Unic Deutschland has grown by 22 percent annually and generated a revenue of EUR 10.8 million in 2022.
In the ranking of owner-managed agencies, published in September 2023, Unic moves up from position 23 to 18.
The ‘iBusiness’ specialist publication considers digital agencies with a growth of more than 10 percent to be ‘overperformers’. We are delighted that Unic Deutschland is part of this group thanks to its sustainable growth over the past few years.

Unic’s long-standing larger customers include Hornbach, Mercedes-Benz, Magenwirth and the Plansee Group. The collaboration with technology partner Spryker, which is now in its third year, is also coming along nicely:
With this software, we have implemented e-commerce and customer portal solutions for existing and new customers. In May 2022, we were delighted to receive the Spryker Customer Excellence Award, which is based on nominations from customers for excellent services.
Outlook for 2023
Unic Deutschland has seen a good start to the 2023 financial year
The demand for integrated solutions that offer a good digital experience for users remains at a high level, with a noticeable trend towards investments in e-commerce and service-oriented solutions. Even though the economic outlook in Germany is somewhat dampened in places, we are still planning to keep growing our two German locations in Munich and Karlsruhe. The collaboration across locations within the Unic Group with its more than 250 experts provides us with the necessary flexibility, expertise, and scalability of services.
